The 2010 draft is thin on bats overall, particularly at first base. Auburn's Hunter Morris is the only true first baseman who at this point in time is projected to go in the first round, and even he has questions about how well he can play the position defensively, not to mention his propensity to swing and miss.
As always, some of the top prospects at other positions may eventually become first baseman, including Josh Sale, Michael Choice, Victor Sanchez and Stefan Sabol. Bryce Harper could move to the position as well, even if he projects to either stick behind the plate or aptly handle an outfield corner.
