The draft begins tomorrow, and experts in the field are expecting a lot of unexpected pick in the second half of the first round. The top pick has been cemented for over a year in Bryce Harper, and the next two picks should go between Jameson Taillon and Manny Machado.
The first half of the first round won't have too many, if any true surprises. Yasmani Grandal, who is enjoying a huge season for Miami and was named the ACC's player of the year, has reportedly signed a pre-draft deal with the Royals at #4, but after that nothing appears to be set in stone.
