Happy summer to all of you that have taken the time to stop by. I apologize for the lack of updates. For those of you that know me better, you know that writing about baseball is not my full-time gig, as I have a day job that pays most of my bills. This job is seasonal in nature, and consumes most of my time for the first half of the summer. Fortunately more and more free time is coming my way, and will allow me to focus on some key events through the month of August including the Aflac All-American Classic, the Under Armour game and my annual top prospect compilation in the Northwoods League.
I did originally plan to attend Team USA's game at Rosenblatt a few weeks ago, but some health issues with a few people near and dear to my family cancelled that trip. I have continued my weekly contribution at Perfect Game, and welcome you to visit those stories as they pertain to some of the talent available for next June and beyond. Stay tuned in the coming weeks for more notes from a few of the notable events noted just above.
