Top 10 Closer Prospects

The increased need for the specialized closer have increased the draft value of the college closer over the past five to 10 years. This year is on the light side when it comes to such prospects. Ben Tootle can run his fastball up to the upper-90s in shorter stints. Jason Stoffel entered the spring as a likely first-rounder, but may have slipped as his stuff hasn't been as dominant this year.
