Top 10 Catching Prospects

Catching is one of the strengths for the 2009 draft. The depth at the high school level is particularly encouraging, and one of the overlying themes is the athleticism found in the players that are available. Slow-footed, plodding catchers that clog up the basepaths aren't to be found at the top of this prospect list. The college crop is highlighted by productive springs by Tony Sanchez and Josh Phegley.
